Paul,

These analysts are schizophrenic! Today JWCharles Co reiterated a "strong buy" on SFLX, while Cruttenden & Co reiterated its FY 98 earnings estimate for SFLX of $1.76/share.

Well Joe and you made a believer out of me. I took my largest position ever in SFLX today @ $11 1/2/share which I think is a good price. What was the name of the analyst who downgraded SFLX?

These analysts I understand need to protect their client's money (to protect against lawsuits), but some of these downgrades are what I would call "hair trigger" downgrades. Sure SEG currently has a surplus of high end HDD's in stock. But if you go to the Disk Drive Makers thread and see the projected demand both for captive and non-captive, and detachable disk drives for the next five years worldwide- it becomes clear that any supply issue at SEG is a short term issue in a market expected to grow worldwide at about 15-18% annually.

And of course HDD are only part of SFLX's business too.....

While we're on the subject of ECM's do you have an opinion of DIIG?

Long on SFLX....

Sincerely,

Doug F.
