Gottfried, Thanks for the reply. At one time way back when I worked in a chip company, there WAS a btb for semiconductors. As I recall, there was some discussion on the validity of the data given the extreme reticence of some of the major companies in the compilation of the statistics. Apparently, the semi-equip companies have a different philosophy on this data sharing and do not really believe that release of the data represents a competitive threat. Robert
