If you think AIDS is something only homosexuals get, you're wrong. I know it's a belief that's widely held, but it's wrong. In China, people get AIDS when they sell plasma - when you sell plasma, the red blood cells are centrifuged out and then reinjected - they pool the blood in China.
In Africa, women get it from their husbands and pass it on to their children. Even if condoms were socially acceptable in Africa, they cost too much.
In Thailand, the sex workers get it and pass it on to their customers. Female sex workers, male customers.
I know, it's comfortable to believe that only "those people" get it - gays, drug prostitutes, prostitutes. They don't matter, right?
