If I recall the claim was institutional unemployment...and I still have yet to see any evidence of that.

Nonetheless the argument always turns to whether or not the recipient is "deserving" and the only "deserving" are those with families and since many minimum wage workers are single they minimum workers can't possible be "deserving."

And now to further bolster their argument, given that it's glaringly apparent that even single adults can't support themselves on the minumum, they are defined-away as "children" if they live at home (out of necessity,) even if they have minor children themselves.

I've been around this dance floor before. The tune is always the same. Only the lyrics change...and occasionally I have to learn a few new steps.
