My new son-in-law was saying he wanted to get a big dog he could leave outside, and he made the mistake of saying this at our family get together! Needless to say with our family dog lovers all, this went over like a lead balloon. All dogs must live in the house and have plenty of love and attention. He's never had a dog, and doesn't realize how much responsibility a dog can be. We told him a dog is one step below a child when it comes to care.
