When and where can you not hold office? Please cite enforceable statutes that prohibit it. Constitutional provisions that will never be enforced don't count.

I understand what you are saying, but I must disagree that they "do not count." The mission statement of an Organization "counts"--even if it has not been applied in legal code. It counts for the people who wrote it; it counts for the people who keep it; and it counts for the people who resent it. The fact that it does not currently "count" for any overt legal ramification, ought to make an amendment an easy concession to inclusiveness, equality, and dignity. If there is any objection to this--then I would suggest that it yet "counts" to any objecting to the amendment.

The statutes, however, are clean.
