Rhetoric to scare citizens into believing they can only be saved by their government has been a tactic favored by dictators and socialists. If you're inferring that I'm a dictator or a socialist, I can tell you that I AM NOT EITHER! Given: California has a screwed-up energy problem. . . It needs some kind of emergency, short-term help to stabilize the problem. No one, including the Federal Government, wants to really help. . . they are just very happy trying to point the blame. . . solving NOTHING. Solution: OK, now is your chance to really put it in Black & White how you think California's short-term energy problems should be stabilized. Be my guest. . . Now, if you say "Let California sink into the sea" or just "forget it", it will make it much worse for the Nation than just Calif. . . . So, that's not an option. Joe
