Howard,

I should have qualified that. The NiMH lasts 4x as long as alkaline on digital cameras. On other low drain systems, they may not do as well. They also slowly discharge when idle.

But for digital cameras,my experience is that a fresh charged NiMH does take 4x as many pictures as a duracell alkaline.
