Well, those who go out of their way to look for offense will, of course, always find it.

There are still in the CC&Rs of many housing developments established decades ago prohibitions on selling to minorities or Catholics. They are, of course, unenforceable. But if people want to get exercised over their mere existence, of course nothing can stop them.

At least we are agreed that neither of us knows of any legal impediments to atheists holding public office. If you choose to go beyond that and hold on to a provisions which was written well over a century ago and has been long abandoned, well, I guess if you have nothing better to do with your time, that will help fill it.
