Eleleth, so far you have told us:
1. You have no real experience daytrading.
2. You've never been in a federal income tax bracket above 28%.
3. A $50k minimum prevents you from opening a brokerage account.
4. You took 1 class on SOES trading.
5. They told you that profits would "roll in" after 3 months.
6. You are considering quitting your job to SOES trade full time.
7. You are not a babe in the woods.

I wish you luck. Remember that daytrading is a negative sum game, and most players must lose. Let us know how it turns out.
