Well, not to bring up old sores, but since Poet has left SI this can't hurt her. When I first posted there I was banned not for anything I posted -- what I had posted was perfectly appropriate to the thread -- but because on the basis of things I had posted on other threads in the past one poster thought I would be an unwelcome poster on LWP and got me banned. Fortuntely Poet had the integrity to reverse that on my challenge, and we have become good e-friends since then, but at least at that time you didn't need to post anything "bad" to be banned; yes, there was at least one pre-emptive banning based solely on what one person thought the poster MIGHT post in future.
