With news of Microsoft raising prices on NT, we will have to watch NT market share and revenue growth from this point forward. Why do I say this? Because there is the possibility that if Microsoft can become more dependant on NT revenues and less so on Productivity (which stands at close to 50% now), Microsoft "may" drop pricing on retail and corporate Office applications. Now if Microsoft really feels that they need to drop pricing on productivity applications, then they "must" feel that Corel poses a threat. Especially on the Java front. ah
