Nothing new to me. 1. Intel is they greatest processist in the world. 2. Intel is always 3-6 months ahead of AMD with switching to a news process. 3. Motherboard makers always jump at the chance for a new Intel motherboard. Intel has 75% of the market. They would be a fool not to. 4. Intel really needed to get to .13u as the P3 was lagging and the P4 a dog. RE:"Typical AMDroid denial - if AMD had been sampling 0.13 micron AthyWipys, you would be hailing this as the greatest technological achievement since the Pyramids" If AMD was samplin .13u parts it would have been much bigger news that Intel.
