Hi John, I saw this story, any relation? RECORD TARPON TAKEN ON FLY ROD While fly fishing off the coast of Florida, 24-year-old James Holland, Jr. of Vancouver, Washington, boated a 202-pound, 8-ounce tarpon. Once certified, the fish should replace the previous fly-tackle record, a 188 pounder caught in 1983.
Holland's guide, Steve Kilpatrick, used his trolling motor to chase the tarpon for nearly three miles during the two hour fight. The hooked fish also caught the attention of a bull shark, but Kilpatrick was able to distract it by revving the outboard
Having any fun with the markets today? I did a little fishing and hooked a couple of stocks that I hope I can reel in <gg>.
Sincerely, bbgold |
