i know...and yet, i'm not really worried, for several reasons. one is that while they were successful with shorting the spikes in recent years, they ALWAYS short the spikes, whether they develop into larger bull runs or not. they leaned heavily against the wind in both the '85 to '87 rallies and the '93 rally. the more important signal is coming from the pm stocks imo - and they say the rally in the metals will resume sooner or later. probably in anticipation of the favorable fundamentals finally having an effect on prices.
