Ron, I took a quick look at MPI and ended up buying some today. I wonder about your assumptions of flow rates though. From the article in Oil & Gas Investor, which is on MPI's web site, it looks like the wells have averaged about 35 bopd, not the 150 you have assumed in your calcs. The article says that there has been 1.17 mmbo produced in the field from Jan. -- Nov. 2000, and there have been 100 wells drilled there. I still like the stock for the potential gains from the hype show about to ensue, but unless I can get more comfortable about flow rates I'm not gonna hang around very long waiting for drilling news.
