Don't you find it just a little bit odd, that we should be proselytized, and forced if necessary, to stop proselytizing. I agree that it is wrong to force anyone to believe in a particular view of God. He is capable of straightening people out all on His own. But this hypocritical, so called tolerance, is just as much, an imposition of belief as any religious fundamentalist could come up with in his wildest dreams.
The free market of ideas is where it's at. Let your doctrine stand or fall on the strength of it's fidelity with truth. But let's dispense with this pretense about Materialistic Naturalism, being philosophically and spiritually neutral. It claims truth for itself as much as any other view, and even when the books are cooked in it's favor, people still refuse to abandon that which is obvious to all but the most willfully blind, the fact that God exists and we are responsible to Him. This drives the Atheist crowd crazy, and they write every one off as ignorant, but it simply won't go away. |
