Greg, I tried everything and eventually grew frustrated that none of the commercial scanning solutions can give me what I need. I was lucky to get a trading buddy here in Silicon Valley interested in the problem, and he's written a bunch of scanning routines for me in C++ (he writes code as frequently as I read charts - like, all the time). It is driven by my S&P Comstock dish feed which spews every tick out onto my Ethernet as a UDP packet, & runs on the same Windows NT platform that I use for Realtick. Real simple, does the job! I feel that it gives me an edge. -Steve
