Good post and thinking Rande. There's another similarity between now and March 2000, other than the VIX. In May, the market pumped out about 40 billion in IPO's, secondaries, and convertible bond offerings. The last time there was this much offered, between 30-40 billion in offerings, was March 2000, the bubble top. So, liquidity has been drained to some extent short term, and trimtabs turned bearish because of it.
Also, last week we had net stock fund outflows.
This doesn't mean that we'll go down, it's just some observations.
