<I know since I have become more diversified I sleep better at night>

Actually, over the past 4 years, the wife and I have built up sizable portfolio of real estate. Rental units that we bought cheap, fixed them up, and are renting out. The income has reached the point that it can sustain us, so my CC strategy would be 'extra'. I would not be dependent upon it, however, extra income would be 'nice' if I can generate income without subjecting my portolio to devastating losses.

I do feel that the current market conditions are favorable for starting a fairly conservative CC strategy. A lot of the downside risk has already occurred. We all know that stocks CAN go to zero (or nearly so... look at PriceLine but strong fundamental companies will remain in business.

I'll keep ya informed as to how it goes...
