Hi everyone,
I've been using MS-Office 2000 for quite some time with no problem. Recently I downloaded service patches sr1a and sr2 and started experiencing the dreaded blue screens and freeze-ups. Some of the files were also corrupted and so I removed office 2000 and cleaned up the mess.

When I try to reload the programs, I get a prompt that 'sr1 patch cannot be found, and the system quits on me. I tried to download the patches again, but the system does not load the patches with the message 'you already have the patch and do not need to load again'.

The process has been repeated at least thirty times with no success.

I'd very much appreciate any help.
Pardon me if the problem has been already addressed.

Thanks.

Roberto
