The bad news is out on CMEL:

Checkmate Q2 may not meet break-even

ROSWELL, Ga, June 13 (Reuter) - Checkmate Electronics Inc said Friday its quarter results ``may not exceed break-even.''

The company said in a statement that results cannot be forecast at this time and it plans to release quarterly results on or about July 17.

Wall Street was expecting the company to report second quarter earnings of $0.23 a share,
according to First Call.

The company said unanticipated softness in retail capital spending is largely responsible for the
shortfall.

Friday the 13th lives up to its name.
