Hi SB, I'm actually the "buy and manage" type! :-)

I was invested in Cray Computer Corp. (Not Cray Research). Mr. Cray was using the schematics from his existing Cray Research products with the concept of Gallium Arsenide replacing Silicon as the base of semiconductors for the machines. The idea was that with a much faster machine based in GaAs, so much of the existing programming for supercomputers could be salvaged and re-used with the more productive machines saving a fortune in new programming.

Well, over time I became aware of Vitesse and its efforts in GaAs. CRAY went bust about the time Mr. Cray died in a car accident. I never did find out where the intellectual property went. At about that time I started accumulating Vitesse shares. It took a year for me to build my total position - about 5000 shares at the cost of about $4.50 per share in 1993.

Aaaaahhhh, if I'd just bought and held!!!!

But, since I risk-manage my accounts, I've only made a paltry 1000% on it at the current price.

Best regards,
Tom
