Re KOSP: My doctor prescribed Niaspan for me. I already was taking Lipitor. I was in Costco recently, and noted a product for sale (OTC) called SloNiacin. It is a 500 mg polygel controlled release niacin product. Isn't this basically the same thing as Niaspan? If so, I don't see a huge market for Niaspan.
