As a matter of fact, I remember I watched a Samsung session on CDG about a month ago, saying the average speed is about 100k or so.

gritty determination to defend 3GPP technologies at every turn

That's Eric, just like he thought 76ers stand a chance<ggg>

As for your question about power usage in WCDMA. There are a lot of factors. It needs more fingers in rake receivers due to wider bandwidth. It has more overhead for signaling due to its async nature. And as you already know it is more complex and power eating in their handoffs. Keep in mind, handoff doesn't just happen when it actually happens, but also a lot going on when it is not happening because it needs to monitor multiple pilots in order to get prepared for the handoff, and since those pilots are not time syncd so it is far more complex than the sync mode therefore lead to degradation of the performance and more power usages.

Gotta run.

You two keep on the good fight<ggg>
