>>Based on the last 20+ years of data, the Nasdaq has outperformed the other indexes in the 12 month period following a market low. The measurement period is 12 months following a market low and the data has been collected over a 20 year period during which there have been 8 market lows <<

Now THAT I agree with you.
Your last post, it wasn't clear because those bold letters were missing.

Of course, Nas did better after the market LOW for Nas stocks have higher Beta (volatility).
PMCS past one year's price range was $19 - 245 and YHOO 12 - 150,
but JNJ was 80 - 106 and GM 49 - 77
When the market recover, most likely PMCS and YHOO will out perform JNJ or GM.

* Your theory is fine, but the question is how do you know the market has bottomed.
Looking back 20 years, it is easy to pick the bottom, but did we hit the bottom in April or more down side to come?
IF the market goes lower most likely NAS will tank faster rate than other index. *

Now the million dollar question is:

QQQ still a good buy at this point?
Nas has gained 38% since April low.
Will it continue to out perform DJIA or S&P in next 10 months?
