BG: So SK gets below 50% market share by the government mandated June 30. Then what? Seems like a weak plan for the government to on the one hand; to say that over 50% is unfair to the other carriers (imposed on SK as a condition of a buyout of a smaller rival) and then on the other hand; say that poof! once below 50%, controls are no longer needed.

I have not seen the June 30 date as an attempt to give the other carriers some breathing room while they also went under some consolidation. I hope that's the case, I just have not seen anything that gives that spin to the affair.

If the govt thinks one provider should not have over 50% of the market, I dont see any upside for a while.

Gotta love those 'managed' economies.
