Players Network Announces Largest Contract in Its History

LAS VEGAS, Jun 6, 2001 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Players Network, Inc. (OTCBulletin:PNTV) today announced the signing of a 2 year agreement with Station Casinos, Inc. (NYSE:STN) to provide a myriad of products and services to all Station Casinos properties in the Las Vegas area. Station Casinos is the largest casino company catering to the locals market in the Las Vegas area. Station Casinos, Inc. owns and operates Palace Station Hotel & Casino, Boulder Station Hotel & Casino, Santa Fe Station Hotel & Casino and the Wild Wild West Gambling Hall & Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, the Texas Station Gambling Hall & Hotel and the Fiesta Casino Hotel in North Las Vegas, Nevada, Sunset Station Hotel & Casino and The Reserve Hotel & Casino in Henderson, Nevada as well as slot route management services in Southern Nevada. The Company also owns a 50 percent interest in Barley's Casino and Brewing Company, in Henderson, and is currently building The Green Valley Ranch Station Casino, a joint venture between Station Casinos and American Nevada Corp., that is expected to open in late 2001.
Under the agreement, Players Network will provide a turnkey vertical marketing campaign for all the properties. The Company will install the Players Network 24 hour digital gaming and entertainment cable television network in all existing and future Station Casino resorts. Players Network will also provide streaming media Internet services to Station Casino web sites including over 150 original gaming-related content and full-streaming instructional videos. In addition, Players Network will produce a minimum of two live web events each year from a Station Casinos location. The original Station Casinos content, which will be produced by Players Network, will also be distributed on the broadband network in 1.2 million homes in the U.K. through the Players Network partnership with British Telecommunications Plc., expected to launch this summer.
