Hi,

Not to prolong this discussion, but I saw a report of these horrid price increases and guess what? They were just coming up to what we pay on the East coast. We have not benefited from cheap Federal hydro-electric projects as much as the west coast has.

Now I admit I saw the rates mentioned on one isolated report. So lets put it on the table - lets each name our state, electric utility and the rate we pay.

Me--- North Carolina CP&L 8.151 cents per kWh (summer rate)
