The Democrats should be VERY careful in pushing this idea, since their "price gauging" rhetoric is dishonest, and the pricing can be justified in ways that would certainly embarrass the left.

Example: The $1,900/kwh price that Feinstein was squealing about was due to federally-imposed fines for running an old power plant beyond a certain number of days per year. Wonder how the voters of California would take knowing that they are primarily being screwed by the radical environmental left?
