Jan, The TSE is fast asleep. Is this part of the bre-x hangover, I don't know. The Canadian long bond for the first time in many decades is yeilding lower than the US bond. What reaction did we see on the TSE. Warm at best. Will P.S. I saw Levesque's main economist a few months back and asked him when the Canadian long bond would out perform the US bond. He laughed and said "Not Soon". Guess what he was wrong!
