jla, I belief that in this case Ms Reno did the right thing. A FATHER has first rights to see after the welfare of his child and the state has no right to stick there nose in unless a clear and immediate harm was obvious. There are laws and they were followed and the child was restored to his father and this was 100% just.

In this case any justification of not giving the father his rights lead to disgusting rationalizations of what the right of the state is and the elimination of the right of individuals to raise their child with their own beliefs.

No compelling case can be made to deprive a father from his son in this circumstance. In my opinion any attempt shows no understanding of the right to life liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

And I love the fact that this made the champion of the rapist a non event and this was more grease in the sewer pipe to lead mr bill head first faster in to the sewer of only in the news whens theirs egg in his face. mr bill now lives in place where only turds float around him with an occasional egg.
