govt. control vs. free markets I'm of the opinion that, if stock options are a company benefit over and above salary (a benefit, by the way, that is not available to about 95% of the workforce), that selling should only be allowed at retirement or transfer. Pension works this way...and I see options as a kind of pension plan... TC
