albert, if you can contact Scott Randall, you might tell him to read Anand's Athlon MP review at anandtech.com

His statement,

initial versions of Athlon MP
will only be at 1 GHz and 1.2 GHz and will lag the performance of faster speed
multiprocessor capable processors from Intel.

...is inconsistent with the reality that dual Athlon MP 1.2's beat dual Xeon 1.7's in every server benchmark and in 3/4 of workstation benchmarks.
