Sanmina Corp (SANM) Short term traders who are looking for shorting opportunities in the market need to focus on the trend. An uptrend is a series of rallies to a higher high than the last rally, followed by declines that do not take out the low of the last decline. During this period, the lowest risk is on the long side for trader. When this trend changes though, traders must change focus. When one looks at the daily chart of SANM it is obvious the stock is no longer in an uptrend since this most recent decline has brought the stock to a lower low. Traders should focus on shorting downtrending issues. Over the last few days SANM has traded in a sideways manner and looks ready to resume its downward move. Look to go short if SANM trades below 26.54 with a stop placed above 27.85.
