I was disappointed in it, E. The whole thing was exciting; lasted 47 minutes but not a lot got done. I took the first bid from a Willliam C. for 10 dollars (cheap enough and I think he was a 5-star). Other bids were 14, 15, a couiple at 20, and I think a 25. He just couldn't fix most of the stuff, although he did teach me a few tricks, and so forth. I think it was just my bad luck to have problems that probably involved the registry and such and would have required software and restarts and time--and more money than was in the deal. I have a better feel for the matter now, and I will check it out with the siteb you recommended. Every time I open an app, the computer sets aside the memory and holds it even after the app is closed. After the computer is on for awhile I'm working on about 20 k ram. That is one of the problems. Some of the others probably stem from the memory shortage.
