Mark, I doubt that the CPU is a significant reason for data loss in a server. Software, memory, expecially if > 1 GB, and disk/controller problems are much more significant. Did any previous Athlon chipsets fully support ECC?

This basically means that, except for the need for ECC, the reliability of a server is determined by the maker of it, not by which CPU is used.
