Thanks GZ...evidently flap didn't read this, or purposely ignores it....Any serious historian will question the idea of reparations....the entire idea of "fault and blame" is so engrained in some people, they lose sight of reality. In a 9th generation from present time, which great-great (etc) relative would one compensate of the 256 individuals who form the individual's background. Gen 1: the individual today Gen 2: individuals parents = 2 Gen 3: grandparents = 4 Gen 4: great-grandparents = 8 Gen 5: g-grandparents = 16 Gen 6: gg-grandparents = 32 Gen 7: ggg-grandparents = 64 Gen 8: gggg-grandparents = 128 Gen 9: ggggg-grandparents = 256 Gen 10: gggggg-grandparents = 512 ETC! 1024, 2048, 4096.... Of these people in one's past, how many individual's were actually slaves???? I honor my ancestors, and also know that each of us has been given life.... a life to live and succeed....or not succeed.
