THE SAD TRUTH OF THE MARKETS: by Ron Dior

The Bulls are pushing and the Bears are yanking. A tug of world war III is in the works between these two ranks. While the Bulls state their case of a definite bottom being put in, the prudent Bears cry "the economy has never looked worse with little recovery in sight!". Nazzy up 100 points one day ( Bulls knew they were right )then down 100 points the next ( Bears raise their hands above their heads for the Messiah has finally arrived ).

What does it all mean? Who can we believe? There’s always a right and a wrong, isn’t there? So who’s right and who’s wrong? Wait a second, I know. Good news is really bad news for the market, that's how we can figure out whose right. Wait a minute, that was last week, this week good news is really good news for the market. Now we’ve got it! Don’t we?? Tonight I will hold a stock long during earnings so as to make some money! Wait a second, should I hope the earnings are good or bad?!@#$^!

As frustrating as this market is, there is only one ultimate truth! What is it?

Neither the Bulls nor the Bears are correct. This market is going nowhere fast and will continue like this for the next several quarters. It's not going up and it's not going down. Meanwhile, the rest of us will just go round and round.
