Here is, I hope, an easy one:

I am temporarily stuck with a very slow connection, taking anywhere from 5 to 15 seconds to load a new page. So, I have several windows open at any given time, and I as soon as I click on a link on one window, rather than waiting for it to load I switch to another window that has previously loaded in the background. [hope that makes sense]

The problem is, while I'm working on my current window, as soon as a background window loads, my computer automatically switches to that window, which is a real pain in the foot. Sometimes I have two or more windows loading and they are all fighting to be the window on top.

So my question is, can I do something to turn this off so that I always have to manually choose which window to view?

Thanks......and if this post made no sense to you I'll be happy to try to rephrase it.
