look, i'm sorry if he broke his wrist, but just because some guy might have got his arm bit off by a lion misplaced in the petting zoo when he was 5 yrs old doesn't mean i should compare him to michael jordan. i would rather see games decided based on skill as opposed to oafishness. and not just basketball. i am a big tennis fan and hate the way some lower-skilled players are able to do well just because of their monster serves (resulting from their height) on hard courts and grass. at least in tennis there are different surfaces, and now the best men's tennis is seen on clay (and the two best players--kuerten and ferrero) will face each other tomorrow as it happens). i would just like to see basketball played in a way that highlights the most skilled players over the biggest. it is truly amazing what an iverson or bryant can do when they're on, but imho, what shaq does is not amazing at all. that's the difference. a 12-14 ft rim would be a move in the right direction imho.
