Peter:

Excuse me for commenting, but it seems that William O'Neel's "Relative Strength Ratio" or the RSI (Relative Strength Index) that shows in several available "charts" serve the purpose of comparing the strength of an individual company vs. "the general market",albeit not necessarily compared to their own sector.

Take for instance ASTM, which has shown an increasing RSI both on its daily as well as its weekly charts and today is up 37% on volume already above 5,600,000 I haven't been able to find any specific news to account for it.I don't think the recent news about their new manager for their Zellera division in Germany accounts for all the action.

Is anybody on the Thread familiar with the company's research ?

Bernard
