Siebel Systems and BEA have agreed to collaborate on the delivery of an application adapter between Siebel eBusiness Applications and BEA WebLogic(R) Integration. In addition to joint marketing and targeted sales efforts, the collaboration further extends integration development between Siebel eBusiness Applications and the BEA WebLogic E-Business Platform(TM). Siebel Systems provides an integrated family of eBusiness applications software enabling multi-channel sales, marketing, and customer service systems to be deployed over the Web, call centers, field, reseller channels, retail, and dealer networks. BEA Systems provides the infrastructure that allows companies to build and deploy custom eBusiness applications. The joint solution gives customers a quicker, more cost effective way to integrate Siebel eBusiness Applications with applications developed on the BEA WebLogic E-Business Platform.
