You are right when you suggest a company will have its ups and downs. Still, I can't see why I should avoid an excellent company, just because everyone likes it. Looking back, would you avoid Microsoft just because everyone likes it? What I like about Ascend is that the management is very good. And as strange as it might seem to an experienced investory, I've only recently learned that the people who manage the company are extremely important. For instance, a company may have the greatest product in the world, but if there are management problems the company probably won't do very well. So I guess, my feeling about Ascend is that even if they miss the target price by a few pennies, I would still buy shares because, from what I know now, I believe the management is moving the company in the right direction.
