i'm always surprised (or reminded) in my travels away from home that most mexican restaurants around the country don't even know what they are. they're fairly localized to new mexico. "elpaso" is new mexico in that regard... i'm sure you can get them there.

i don't find them much down in mexico either when i go south.

anybody out there have them as a regular mexican restaurant menu item in other states?
