NT Pricing

This is just the beginning and is one of the reasons why MSFT's future revenue stream will be so awesome over the next 5-10 years as it moves into the Enterprise Computing mainstream.

By commercial IS standards, current NT pricing practically make it freeware. Large accounts typically send IBM checks for well over $100,000 per month just for their core operating system software. Even this is noise for a billion-dollar company whose business depends on their IS systems and whose IT budget runs north of $100 million per year. If the value is there, the price is easily justified.
