 Vari-L Company Comments on Insurance Company Lawsuit
 DENVER, June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Vari-L Company, Inc. (OTC: VARL - news), a leading provider of advanced components for the wireless telecommunications industry, today announced that an insurance company, Agricultural Excess and Surplus Insurance Company, which provides Vari-L with $2.5 million of excess directors and officers liability insurance, has filed suit in U.S. District Court in Denver asking the court to find that it is not obligated to provide coverage, or in the alternative, seeking permission to rescind its policy.
 
 Charles Bland, CEO of Vari-L, said the Company is reviewing the claim and intends to take all steps necessary to ensure that the coverage to which it is entitled, and for which it has paid, remains in force.
