It is pretty funny even to imagine that Compaq and IBM should be blamed for AMD not able to sell its products. <Intel has new server products every six months. Whoever picks Athlon MP first will certainly not get favorable pricing or (less important) allocation from Intel, so a stalemate will continue until enough middle tier players start taking market share away from the big guys. That's a fact of life and will take time to change.> So why do you think Jerry kept talking about imminent corporate design wins for almost a couple of years now? Quite amused by the post.....
