John, All I can really speak for is avantgo since I use it daily. It alone could justify the purchase price of a PDA IMO. And you do not need a wireless connection; it downloads the pages for offline viewing. I believe vindigo is similar except I believe it is limited when compared to avantgo, though I am by no means certain. The beauty of these apps is that they do not require expensive connections.
