Compared to some of the horror stories coming out of some networking darlings (see Juniper and Cisco), 3Com appears to be a paragon of fiscal health -- in spite of their obvious fumbles. At the end of the day the winners will be those that are left standing, and 3Com has a very good chance of being one of them, given their still very healthy balance sheet.
